What Does Real Repentance Look Like?
Thank you for welcoming Pastor Glenn Rogers this past Sunday! His message from John 1:35-51 talked about true conversion and what it looks like. Following Jesus means sharing Jesus with family, friends and those God puts in our path. If Jesus has taken up residence in our hearts we should be telling others about Him and watching for opportunities to give Him glory. Each disciple had an encounter with Jesus personally before they believed and decided to follow Him and immediately went to find others to bring to Jesus. It is no different today. Jesus asks each of us as He did Andrew and John, “What do you seek?” He asks this question not because He doesn’t know the answer, but because He wants us to know what it is that we seek by following Him. Make a point of seeking Jesus this week and pray that God will put someone on your heart or in your everyday life to introduce to Him.
