Celebrating What God is Doing

This week we wrapped up an amazing summer at Beachside! Things have been busy around here, and the Lord has been so gracious to grant us the opportunities we’ve had this summer. In the last few weeks, we welcomed two mission teams, hosted an on-site summer camp with the help of our Woodlands Freestyle friends, and brought our teenagers to camp in Georgia! We’ve canvassed multiple areas of our neighborhood, our Fellowship Hall had new floors donated and installed, we’ve conquered paint projects around our facility, gotten a basketball goal donated to be installed, and worked on other various projects around the building.

On the spiritual front, we had nearly 60 kids participate in camp at our church and in Georgia, and over 10 of them accepted Christ and gave their life to the Lord! We had the privilege of watching these campers learn about Jesus, study Scripture, play games, and build relationships with each other. It has brought so much joy to my heart to see all that God has been doing at Beachside, and I’m overwhelmed with the opportunities He’s given us to share the gospel and reach our community for Christ.

I want to again thank all of you who helped scholarship kids, prayed for camp, provided meals, and served in whatever capacity was needed this summer. I want to encourage you to continue praying for the kids who were saved, their families, and for God to continue opening doors of opportunity in our community. Amazing things are happening at Beachside, and I’m fully convinced that He who began a good work will carry it on until completion. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow as we partake in communion together.
