James 4:13-17
This week we will continue our series through the book of James as we study James 4:13-17. We continue to see how pride impacts every facet of our lives, including the way we think about the future. We often work through our lives, think through our future, and plan each day without even considering God. We make plans for the future and presume that God will be good and gracious to us and never think to seek Him in these plans or thank Him for how He is at work in our lives currently. Rather, we should seek Him and say, “If the Lord wills,” trusting Him to guide us in His perfect will day by day instead of planning our own future without making room for Him in it.
