Standing Firm on Truth
Sunday, August 16 Service – provided online due to coronavirus social distancing. Scripture is taken from Nehemiah 8:1-2. This is such a beautiful passage of our need for Scripture. I was moved this week in my time studying that we need to be Word-centric in everything we do in life. Many churches have drifted from teaching God’s Word, and as a result, we see many generations of shallow faith. Many people have very little understanding of God’s Word, and when difficult times arise in their lives they don’t run to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. We need to be people who love and pursue His Word because it is profitable for reproof, correction, and instruction on how we can live a life of godliness in relationship with our Creator.
