The Battle for Truth
I hope all the families who are on spring break this week are having a wonderful time with their loved ones! We’ll be praying for your safe travels and that this time away is full of rest and enjoyment. For those of you who will be joining us tomorrow, we’ll be diving into 2 Corinthians 10:1-6. This is the beginning of a new theme in the book of 2 Corinthians, where Paul shifts from a more gentle tone to one that reflects the strength and determination of a soldier in battle.
Tomorrow, we’ll talk about the spiritual warfare we face every day. So often, we don’t even realize when Satan has gained a foothold in our lives. The kind of spiritual warfare Paul speaks about tomorrow is one where we’re drawn into worldly ideas or philosophies. Satan is really good at making these things look harmless, but they actually become strongholds that take God’s place in our hearts. To win this battle, we must take every thought captive for the glory of Jesus. I’d love for you to join us tomorrow as we explore how culture has shaped the way we see the Bible.
