The Beauty of a Pure Conscience
Last week we continued our study in 2 Corinthians as we looked at Paul’s sharing the testimony of his own afflictions with the Corinthians. This passage leads us to the question, “Why does God allow bad things to happen to His people?” There are many reasons, from God working out our sanctification to the reality that trials make us long for eternity rather than this world. Paul ultimately reminds us that our God is sufficient in our suffering. In days of suffering and days of blessing, He alone gives sufficient grace to sustain us. This week we will continue in 2 Corinthians as we look at Paul’s description of the conscience affecting the way we live in this world. We look forward to worshiping with all of you tomorrow morning!
