New Beginnings: The Power of Grace
1 Timothy 1:13-16; Acts 6:8-15; 7:35-8:3; 26:11
SERIES:
Sunday, January 10 Service – Scripture referenced within this sermon – 1 Timothy 1:13-16; Acts 6:8-15; 7:35-8:3; 26:11
This message focuses on new beginnings. Many of us know the story of Paul and would agree that his testimony is incredible! His boldness for Christ makes it easy to forget his former hostility toward Christians. He loathed them and went to great lengths to eliminate all believers. God in His great mercy changed Saul’s life instantaneously, and he became Paul, the apostle of grace. In Luke 7, Jesus uses an adulterous woman to give us a picture of grace as He states, “her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.” We love Christ more when we understand how much grace He has demonstrated toward us. No matter where you have been or where you are, He loves you!
