What is Godly Grief?
I am excited to start back in our study of 2 Corinthians. It has been too long since we opened this beautiful letter from Paul. I know many of you had a busy week with back-to-school and getting adjusted to summer being over. I don’t think anything is more important than the habit of worshiping with God’s people. We are blessed to have an amazing church, and it’s important we come each Sunday with a heart of gratitude towards our God.
This week we will discuss the beauty of community. Paul was in a difficult place in his ministry and he was looking for encouragement, so he went to meet his dear friend Titus who comforted his weary soul. All of us go through seasons in life where God sent a friend to be the encouragement we needed to get through a dark season. I hope all of us can be those types of friends, but also understand we are not made to live this Christian walk alone. If you ever need anything, please reach out to your church family because you are loved.
